This year my daughter is speaking a little more clearly even though she isn’t quiet two yet, and it just brought smiles to our faces when she yells out,” Happy Giving” on Thanksgiving day.
It gave me the idea to jot down some things I am truly thankful for. I really haven’t done this in a long time:
- My husband who is so loving, supportive, and sweet
- My beautiful but exhausting daughter (more than words grateful)
- My little dogs who cuddle and love me unconditionally
- My home which puts a roof over our head, and is such a warm, happy safe haven
- Lazy Sundays
- A phone call with a friend who you haven’t talked to in a long time that leaves you smiling when you hang up
- Long hugs where you can rest your head on someone’s shoulder
- Finishing an amazing book where you are sad when it’s over because you wanted it to keep on going
- My family because they are so supportive and helpful whenever I need them
- Last minute dinner plans with a friend you haven’t seen in a long time
- A great date night with my hubby that turns into something even more unexpected
- Long walks holding hands and looking at the sunset
- Sweet sloppy kisses from my small person
- Laughing so hard tears run down my face
- The ability to travel so much
- Spending time with my bestie
- My health
And so many, many more…. Happy Giving everyone!!!!! Below are some pictures of some of my most grateful moments ever:
