New Coveted Title

I have several titles Wife, Mommy, Daughter, Daughter-n-law, and friend. This fall I received a new very coveted title of Aunt or Auntie! My brother and sister-n-law brought into this world the most adorable little boy, Joaquin. As an only child I never really knew if I would receive this honor that so many take for granted and I am already so over the moon about him. I get to be an AUNT. Can you believe it?? I am one lucky girl. He lives a few states away from me so it’s hard because I have only seen him a few times but I already love him so much.  The day my sister-n-law went into labor I was so antsy checking my phone, and constantly asking my husband if he had heard anything. Then the text came in with a picture and I burst into tears saying, “he’s here! He’s here!” What the heck? Where did that come from? I mean I like babies, and new family members are always fun but tears. I think there will be a connection there I just know it. I really am a lucky girl to have this little boy in my life. I just wished I lived closer. Maybe someday soon I will have to rectify that situation! J  How beautiful and genetically gifted is this child???
