Mother's Day Merriment

This years Mother’s Day was my favorite so far! There was nothing outside the ordinary just a really wonderful day. My little person started my day off by leaping onto my bed and announcing happily,” its Happy Anniversary Mom’s Day!”  I smile and she giggles leaning a little closer whispering to me, ”I think we get balloons today.” Ah I just love her. How cute is that. Then her and Daddy take me to brunch, and as we sit out side on the patio watching the people walking through the farmers market I smile at my family. My daughter is sweetly coloring, and chewing on her bacon. My husband is seemingly more relaxed than I have seen in a while, and I am just so delighted there is no tantrums or morning drama. What a treat!

Once we finish shopping for our weekly goodies at the farmers market we leave and my daughter notices they are giving pony rides off to the side. Of course she wants to go and she’s been so good I can resist her sweet smiles. On the horse she goes.
After riding the horse we went off to swim. My daughter plays in the water with Daddy as I sit in the sun and relax. Awe sweet bliss!

Next it’s naptime for my daughter and time for my pretty walk. This weekend I walked 12 miles, which isn’t nearly what I did last week but I feel pretty good about it. You know I had to take pictures of my walks. Saturday was overcast and fogged in but Mother’s Day was beautiful and clear as can be.

What a great day! What a great weekend! Thank you my sweet family for making this a great day, and I loved my flowers and balloons too!
