The Battle Begins

Last week I realized after we got everything unpacked that we really don't have a lot of summer outfits for this year. So I ordered my daughter some adorable clothes along with new summer sandals. Today we planned to spend the afternoon playing in the pool so I got out her cute, new swimming suit and this is how that went:

Her: I don't want to wear this! I don't love it! (screaming)
Me: Just put it on it's so cute
Her: I don't want people to see me in this
Me: Nobody is even at the pool right now. Put ... it... ON!
Her: Fine
My Husband: You two need to work this-is-cute-so-you-have-to-wear-it crap out!

She is only three! I can't believe I am already losing the battle of what to wear! Sheeshh! So what should I just give her my credit card and send her into the store where she would no doubt come out with a pair of sparkle red shoes, a cars shirt, and necklace?
